Use the resources in this section to help your children develop their number sense. A proper understanding of the base ten number system that we use is vitally important for students and the resources included here will help you to help your child develop this understanding.

	Skip Counting Skip counting by 2s, 5s, 10s, and 100s is illustrated.
Rounding Rounding of numbers to the nearest 10, nearest 100, and nearest 1000 is explained. Rules for rounding are given along with guidance on rounding larger numbers.
	Integers Positive and negative integers are introduced. This includes adding and subtracting integers and rules for positive and negative rules.
Factors and Multiples The Factors and Multiples sub-section includes prime and composite numbers, prime factorization, greatest common factors, and common multiples.
