Listed below are summaries of the updates that have been made to HelpingWithMath.com over the last few months. We aim to add new resources at least every week so this page is worth returning to on a regular basis.

Thu, Sep 1st A new listing of addition and subtraction (combined) worksheets that are typically suited to Kindergarten and 1st Grade students.
Mon, May 9th Three 4th Grade lessons on angles (inc. worksheets): Measuring Angles, Using a Protractor, and Adding and Subtracting To Find Unknown Angles.
Thu, Mar 24th Two lessons with worksheets added to the Algebra sub-section; Number Patterns & Relationships and Graphing Ordered Pairs.
Tue, Mar 1st Six new geometry lessons added. These include help on finding missing angles, Pythagoras' Theorem, and Similar Triangles. All six lessons have related worksheets with full answers and explanations.
Tue, Feb 15th Two more lessons on math word problems: Converting Metric Units and Money Word Problems. Each has related worksheets.
Tue, Jan 26th Two new related lessons - one on multiples and one on factors. Both include worksheets and guided practice.
Wed, Dec 1st A lesson on generating and analyzing number patterns with related 3-page worksheet.
Tue, Nov 9th Two new lessons and accompanying worksheets; one on congruent triangles and one on transformations.
Wed, Oct 6th The Geometry section has been updated with new guidance and examples on size transformations with related worksheets.
Thu, Sep 16th A new lesson on lines of symmetry together with related activities and worksheets.
Fri, Aug 6th We are very pleased to start aligning our worksheets and other resources with the Common Core Standards For Mathematics.
Mon, March 29th This customizable worksheet lets you pick the numbers to be multiplied or added and gives limitless, random questions.
Thu, March 18th The multiplication tables section has been expanded. More tables, more formats, and more features.
Wed, March 10th A new section with math puzzles has been added. The first groups provide for a bit of fun with multiplication.
Wed, February 10th There are a series of number bond games that challenge students to drag and drop numbers that add up to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100.
Fri, January 22nd Six new fraction lessons. Animated whiteboard with audio commentary.
Fri, January 8th Help with multiplication facts from Five Times Five Is Not Ten with thanks to author, Susan Greenwald MA Ed.
Fri, November 20th A new series of multiplication games have been crafted to help with memorizing the times tables.
Thu, November 12th There is now a list of recently added worksheets that will be updated whenever new ones are added.
Fri, October 30th Updates to equivalent fractions section including additional worksheets.
Wed, September 30th The online flash cards have been improved. There are addition, subtraction, multiplication (including times tables), and division "click to flick" cards.
Thu, September 17th New identifying fractions worksheets plus fraction charts.
Mon, September 7th This example of adding two numbers is a combination of animated steps and explanations. It's the first of many that will follow.
Fri, August 21st Additional target multiplication games added including timed and untimed versions with more tables to practice.
Mon, August 31st Recent updates include basic division worksheets/ activities, two new number lines and division flash cards to help memorize math facts.
Fri. July 3rd New stacked fraction bar added that has halves through sixteenths.
Tue, May 26th Fact Families along with printable fact triangles to help memorize multiplication and division facts.
Wed, May 6th New pages added to the multiplication section including step-by-step multiplication help.
Wed, Apr 22nd New page on squares and square roots.
Thu, Apr. 16th Try the Step Through Addition Calculator that lets you enter the numbers to be added and then see each step.
Apr 6th, 2009 The fledging Algebra section has grown and now has a brief introduction to bases and exponents together with related worksheets.
Mon, Mar 23rd Additional blank fraction sheets added. Useful for work with fractions and multiplication. Halves through tenths now available.
Fri, Mar 13th Fraction Cards. Include half, thirds, through to tenths. Printable with the option to toggle the numbers and shading on and off to give a "make your own" cards option.
Mar 10th, 2009 Remember how boring it can get when people show off and boast about what they've done? We don't - check out the new Showcase.
Mon, Mar 9th New Number Cards. These go from 1 to 100 and are on five printable documents with cut lines to allow the illustrated cards to be created.
Mon, Mar 2nd A new series of math games are in the works. This basic addition game is one example.
Thu, Feb 26th Added 6 new fractions worksheets. including comparing and ordering sets of 2, 3, and 4 with decimals and percentages.
Fri, Feb 20th Added 10 new geometry worksheets. These require coordinates to be written and plotted on a X-Y grid.
Feb 14th, 2009 14 printable pre-algebra worksheets e.g. 4n + 6 = 30
Tue, Feb 3rd Updated the Fraction Chart that shows equivalent fractions in a bar format.
Tue, Jan 20th Customizable Hundreds Number Chart - You enter the start number and interval.
Jan 13th, 2009 Added new sub-section on Multiples and Factors Saturday, Jan. 10th Added illustrated examples to the addition and subtraction sections showing the concept of regrouping when adding and subtracting numbers.
Dec. 4th, 2008 New Integers section including adding and subtracting integers.
Nov. 25th, 2008 A new customizable Numbers in Words Chart - you set the numbers.
